GÜNALP is a second-generation Istanbul bindery working exclusively with publishers and institutions. If your list carries editions meant to last (collected works, anniversary printings, collector's editions), we produce the covers and boxes to match, wholesale and to programme.

Your press prints the book block; we craft the cover. Casing-in, mounting the cover onto the printed block, remains with your printer or binder. One standard across the whole run

Graduated formats, multi-volume sets and repeat printings leave our benches to a single registration and colour standard; the last copy of the run matches the first. So do the slipcases, traycases and book-form boxes that carry them.

Every copy is checked by eye before it is packed.

Facsimile editions

Covers and boxes for facsimile publishing

For facsimile publishers we reproduce classical bindings in their original vocabulary: blind-embossed grounds, multi-tone hot foil laid in exact register, shamsa and border compositions.

Our work in this field includes production for the Türkiye Manuscripts Institution (Yazma Eserler Kurumu).
