Genuine leather & thermo PU covers
Book covers for single volumes and multi-volume editions, in genuine calfskin or thermo PU, with deep embossing and hot foil stamping. Dimensions and colours are made to your specification. Genuine-leather covers: minimum 250 pieces.
Quarter-leather binding
The spine is made of genuine leather, the covers are made of bookcloth.
Leather takes the strain at the spine, the most active part of the binding, while cloth resists wear on the large surfaces.
A durable, balanced choice for collected works and multi-volume sets. Foil and embossing are pressed in our workshop, exactly as on our full-leather covers.
Facsimile covers: Külliyât-ı Nevâyî
GÜNALP produced the PU cover shown here for a facsimile edition of Ali-Shir Nava’i’s collected works. Our work did not include the book’s interior.
The Turkish Manuscripts Institution published Külliyât-ı Nevâyî in 2020, reproducing the Revan 808 manuscript held at Topkapı Palace. Publisher’s edition record.
Four magnesium dies were used: three for foil stamping and one for embossing. The challenge was achieving smooth, even foil coverage across a large surface while aligning all four impressions precisely, without displacement between passes.
Every edition, in its matching case
Slipcases and clamshell book boxes are made to the dimensions of your volume or set. Choose an MDF or cardboard body, genuine leather or PU covering and a custom colour. Interior linings include leather, suede, fabric and velvet, with details developed for your project.
Minimum order: 250 pieces for genuine-leather-covered boxes; 500 pieces for PU or other non-genuine-leather coverings.
